Brigham and I were sitting near our big window when Joseph pulled into the driveway. I said something like, "Look, who is that coming?" then, "Look, it's Papa, yeah, Papa is home!!" Joseph waved at us. Brigham suddenly said, "Oh no, he's gonna come in and tickle me!" How funny is that? Then I said, "Ah oh, you better go hide." He slid off the couch and ran off as fast as his little legs could carry him!

Yummy Uses for All of That French Bread
On Christmas morning, we ate a caramelly-apple french bread recipe from my sister which was wonderful. We'll make it again. I'd be happy to pass this recipe along (if you are interested, e-mail me).
Tonight, I tried to make something I had eaten at a Bed and Breakfast back in September. It was very simple.
Cut thick slices of french bread. Along the top of each slice, cut a slit. Load the inside of the slice with blueberry cream cheese. Then dip the bread in your regular french toast mixture (eggs, milk, vanilla). Fry. I looked up a recipe for blueberry syrup recipe on the internet. Voila! So yummy!
