Junction Valley Railroad

the subtitle is: Largest quarter-scale railroad in the world! I'm into that, you know. At Lake Huron, we visited the largest man-made freshwater harbor (Harbor Beach) in the world. Yesterday it was the largest flea market in the Midwest. Maybe, it's just the advertising ploy that gets me!






We've been there before, but it was when the kids were much younger. I thought Brigham would really get a kick out of seeing and riding the quarter-scale diesel trains. First, we took a 2 mile ride into their little valley. In the valley there is a playground and some cool bikes to ride. We stayed to play a while and then rode the train back to where our van was parked. A slice of little boy heaven!




The kids just loved the see-saws!





On the way back to the van, they wanted to ride in the cattle car. Happily, this was one wish that could be granted by the railroad people.

Another Thomas Fan!

How could we avoid it? With all the track and trains we have, how could any of our boys have avoided being a Thomas the Tank Engine fan?
