May was assigned a magic trick to perform at her class' 100th Day Celebration. Sariah decided that she wanted to do this trick at home on the same day. How can you put a paper towel into water and have it come out dry?
Start with a bowl of water, a small glass container (baby food jar) and a paper towel. Push the paper towel into the baby food jar. If necessary, crumple it more so that it will stay put in the bottom of the jar.
Turn the baby food jar over and put it straight down into the water.
Lift it out.
Voila! The paper towel is still dry!
