Trucks and Buses

About a week ago, Brigham and I had this little tiff. It was about trucks and buses. He was holding a truck and saying "Bus!" I corrected, "Truck." He said, a little more forcefully, "Bus!" and so we went round and round. I decided to try to teach him how to say truck, so I'd say, "T-t-t-truck." He was obstinate, "Bus." Now whenever he's holding a truck, I say, "T-t-t-truck."

Just yesterday, a new phenomenon evolved from our dispute. I don't even know if he was holding a truck or bus because he was in a different room, but all of a sudden I'm hearing, "T-t-t-bus."
