A Memory for Nathan

Joseph got a digital picture frame for Father's Day this year. It was the one thing he kept thinking about and kept shopping for. As I walked into the room just now, this picture was on the screen:


This is eight year old Nathan at his first pinewood derby/pancake breakfast. They sent him outside to hold this sign up by the road. It says "Scout Pancake Breakfast." How cute is it that he came into the gym telling me excitedly that THREE cars had come into the parking lot because of his sign!?

This derby was especially exciting because Nathan's car won a ribbon (2nd place). His is the blue car below. This was one of the many heats he won.
