I vacuumed out my van today because it has been all summer with lots of time on the road. With the rising costs of fuel, I can't justify lugging all this sand with me as I drive. I estimated vacuuming out 2 pounds of sand with another 1 pound that is so ingrained that it and my van are indistinguishable.

Ha! Brings back memories of our time in FL. I could not believe how long it took to stop seeing sand after a trip to the beach.
